In the summer of 1979, I wrote the first three chapters of a romance novel called, 'Something More'.
It is the fictional love story of Bobby Sanders and Kimberly Wells.
It is inspired by a true story.
Bobby, like myself, is in a wheelchair. He knows it's okay to be different, it's okay to dream, it's okay to want something more in life.
'Something More' is a cross between 'Ironside' and a Nicholas Sparks romance novel. Bobby Sanders is my Rocky Balboa.
This is a story about hope and determination and faith.
About the strength of the human spirit and the power of true love.
A story about finding that something more in all of us.
Twenty five years after I began writing this story, I completed Bobby and Kim's romantic journey in the summer of 2004. Six months later, I found an agent in NYC.
Across the past four years, we have been searching for a publisher and movie producer who will share our vision and passion for this story. I am grateful to PublishAmerica for believing in me and 'Something More'...we are still searching for a movie producer.
My life has been full and rich and good. But there have, of course, been challenges…bumps in the road.
I hope that as you one day read ‘Something More’, it will be a roadmap of hope and possibilities for you.
I hope it can help you find that Something More in your life !!!

I had the pleasure of meeting Deborah Norville six years ago at her book signing at BJ's Wholesale Club...I am grateful for all of her support and graciousness. I am honored she included me in her new book 'Thank You Power'. Here is an Excerprt from her book...
"If grateful people do trust life enough to give it a second chance, Chuck Adams has an endless supply of those two. He knows how easy it would have been to give in to the doubters who early on predicted a short life of hardship. He is justifiably proud of how wrong he proved them. And each time either he or his wheelchair hit one of those small bumps in life’s road, Chuck is renewed by his long list of accomplishments. He is re-energized in knowing that for him, there is something more." ---Deborah Norville
I had the privilege of attending Deborah's book launch party at Michael's in Manhattan on October 2, 2007. It was an amazing party !!!
Here's a heart felt thank you to Deborah for including me in her special night !!!
